Arindam Sengupta, Founder & CEO

Arindam is an astute business leader and operational strategist with 22 years of experience across diverse industries with extensive exposure to develop and manage customer-oriented businesses. He has proven competence in setting up operations, establishing policies, transitioning processes, designing SOPs and scaling up business through superior client service. He possesses an in-depth understanding of HR processes and Lean Six Sigma initiatives as well. He was the Vice President – Operations in Acclaris where he was instrumental in setting up the backoffice operations of one of the largest banks in the US. Earlier , he worked with PWC and CESC . His has led the development of technology platforms since the beginning of his career and has always been a proponent of automation and lean methodologies.

Arindam is a B.Com(Hons) from St.Xavier’s College , Kolkata , a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a Six-Sigma Black-Belt trained professional with immense expertise in setting up technology-driven platforms .

Atanu Ghosh, Co-Founder & Director

Atanu is an Entrepreneur, a Founder-Director and CEO, a Mentor, an Angel Investor to Start-ups and a Digital Media and Analytics Evangelist. Atanu has a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years in IT and Consulting Industry in multiple countries. An Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University ,Kolkata, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India , Atanu has worked in several top-notch companies like Tata Steel , BHEL, PwC and IBM. He has provided services to various Fortune 100 clients in India, USA, UK, Europe, China and SE Asia. Some of the clients serviced by Atanu were Essar Steel, Arvind Mills, Titan, Ranbaxy Labs, BPCL and Tata Steel in India while the notable global clients include BG-Group UK, British Petroleum (BP), Shell, Ericsson and Johnson & Johnson.

Atanu served as a Director with IBM heading their ERP and SAP businesses in India and China and, prior to that, a Principal with PwC.

Atanu is an Adjunct/ Visiting/ Guest Faculty in areas of ERP, E-Commerce and Digital Marketing in leading academic institutions of India like IIM Calcutta, XLRI Jamshedpur, XIM Bhubaneshwar and UPH Jakarta . Atanu has been a distinguished and key note speaker in leading forums and industry associations of India like SAPPHIRE, CII and Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. Atanu is also a Consultant and Advisor to Government organizations, companies and start-ups in areas of IT Strategy, ERP, Digital Media and Analytics Strategy.
As an Entrepreneur, Atanu has promoted, founded and mentored various start-ups in the new and emerging technology areas. He is the Founder &CEO of Salt n Soap , which is an leading Online Supermarket and Medinook, an Online Health Consultation Company. Atanu is an expert in the area of eCommerce and brings with him an enormous basket of experience in this field which would facilitate Scriptfair to become the best eCommerce brand in the world.

Ritu Madan, Co-Founder & Director

Ritu Madan has over 20 years of experience in global organizations. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Business Management Graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She has enormous expertise in the areas of banking , treasury, taxation, joint ventures and subsidiaries, logistics and operations management. Earlier, she had worked with PWC, Centurion Bank and 3i Infotech during the early phase of her career. She was the CFO-Indian Operations of Federal Express Corporation during 2004-2008 and Director Financial Operations in Resources India, a Publicis Groupe’ SA Co during 2008-2014 and in both companies she was responsible for Finance & Accounts including Commercial & Credit management of the India operations. She is currently the Finance Director of – ZARA India (Inditex Trent India Retail Private Limited) having overall responsibility for Accounts & Finance including treasury, compliances, taxation and Commercial management.
Ritu has been working intensely for the development of the logistics and financial management processes of Scriptfair. She brings with her 20+ years of experience in the areas of logistics, commercial management and banking enabling Scriptfair to develop into a formidable force in the ecommerce arena.

Board of Advisors

Dr.Debjit Roy
Debjit Roy is a faculty in the Production and Quantitative Methods Area in IIM-Ahmedabad since March 2012. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering (with a major in Decision Sciences/Operations Research and a minor in Computer Science) and an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA besides an M.Sc. (Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University where he is associated with the SmartPort and Material Handling Forum initiative. His research focuses on estimating the performance of Logistical and Service Systems such as Container Terminals, Automated Distribution Centres, Vehicle Rental, and Restaurant Systems using stochastic models and optimization. He has received several international research awards and has published in several leading INFORMS journals such as Transportation Science and Interfaces. He has been a constant source of inspiration for this initiative and continues to guide the company in the area of logistics and operations management.
